The aim of the Debreceni Regionális Közlekedési Egyesület (Debrecen Regional Transport Association) is to promote and support public and bicycle transportation in Debrecen and its broader surroundings, while representing the interests of passengers and travelers who use these modes of transport. Through their work, they strive to contribute to the efforts of regional municipalities and transportation companies to significantly improve the quality and service standards of local, intercity, and long-distance public transportation. They consider it a priority to develop proposals that, when implemented, will help maintain and increase the number of passengers. Additionally, they aim to introduce and popularize environmentally conscious transportation among travelers, whether it be public or bicycle transportation.
